Char's Bio
From the time she was born in Munich, Germany, Char has
had a passion for fashion. Her Grandmother was a hat
designer and Char still has 30 to 40 hats.
She grew up in Pittsburgh, attended Carnegie Mellon and
then migrated to New York joining Eastern Airlines, as a
flight attendant, to fulfill her love of travel.
While in New York, she became a model and appeared in
numerous publications including the cover of Harpers
Bazaar.
She then moved to Miami where she furthered her career in
fashion, modeling, designing and manufacturing clothing.
In Miami, she met her husband, Skip, a former
Congressman and moved with him and her son Josh to the
Washington DC area.
Her best friend designed jewelry and it piqued her interest
into a different kind of fashion design than she had been
involved in over the years.
And thus began a new career.
